International Conference on Cognitive Modeling & Society for Mathematical Psychology in Madison, Wisconsin

The lab presented our research at the International Conference on Cognitive Modeling/Society for Mathematical Psychology combined conference. Marieke organized the Women of Mathematical Psychology professional development workshop on learning to say no, which featured a very informative keynote by Wendy Crone. Christina Jin presented  her poster on classifying mind-wandering on the basis of EEG data, which shows that mind-wandering can be classified across different tasks. Maarten van der Velde presented our paper on an ACT-R model of depressive rumination during a working memory task. Finally, Marieke presented her work on classifying decisions in  iEEG and scalp EEG data. After the conference, Marieke further presented her working on Tibetan monastic debate at the Center for Healthy Minds of the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
