Marieke went to China from Oct 13th-22nd to present the University of Groningen at the International Graduate Student Fair. While there, she also gave the talk “Working memory and brain oscillations: a bell-and-hammer model” at the Chinese Academy of Sciences – Psychology. She visited Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence colleagues at Beihang University, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Jilin University, Zhejiang University and Xiamen University.
After China, she continued on to Bangalore (India) where she attended the NWO workshop on Indo-Dutch collaborations in the domain of IT. She gave a talk about “eHealth: Netherlands-India opportunities and challenges” at the Living Lab on October 24th. On November 1st, she also gave a talk “Distinguishing healthy and pathological mind-wandering with cognitive science and modelling” at the University of Allahabad.
